Many of you have been preparing for as long as 3 years for this upcoming season.  It's getting excited, as opening date is just around the corner.  Captain's practice will begin on Monday November 5th.  Note that this year's captain's practice will only be two weeks long.  There is a lot to accomplish in a short period of time, so be there everyday.  We need everyone to turn in:
    1. MSHSL permission slip if you dd not turn one in for a fall sport.
    2. Participation fee of $45, or the reduced fee of $20.
    3. Check with the athletic office to be sure you have a physical on file that will not expire this year.  If you don't, get the     form from your athletic office and have your Dr. fill it out when he gives you a physical.  Turn that completed form back     to the A.D. office.

If all paperwork and fees are complete, and you attend all 8 captain's practices you will be eligible for the 2012 JHS wrestling Tee. 

P.S. Captain's practice is not just for captains.  It is open gym for anyone that would like to attend.

The selection criteria for the captains of the upcoming wrestling season will be as follows:
20% Previous letters and performance
20% GPA (cumulative and fall)
20% JHS fall sport participation (football, soccer, XC)
20% Captain's practice overall performance (attendance, attitude, effort)
20% Leadership qualities (integrity, verbal skills, attitude, teamwork, commitment)

Captain(s) will be announced the first week of the season.
